You are magic. Thank you for this. Your truth vibrates under my skin, it feels like mine too. Thank you for giving my heart words, thank you for giving my lostness meaning.
Our hearts speak the same language. I will never forget the first time I found your words, how they held the heaviness that is so often felt along this journey, how they lifted me, gave me wings, and affirmed the truth that every facet of our being can be doors if we choose to believe it to be so. I love you friend.
I am so honored to walk this path with you. Wandering, this idea of getting lost, is in ways so necessary. I often say we are like paper planes, forever being carried in unexpected but such utterly purposeful directions. It takes tremendous courage, and it is the only way to truly come home. If we never felt lost, it would be because we always stayed right where we are.
heavy on lost does not mean without! sometimes it’s so easy to feel like if things aren’t figured out, planned or executed to its fullest capacity we do not have enough, we aren’t enough or we’re not doing enough. there’s so much power in full in who you are while also being open to not knowing what’s next. there’s magic in just being curious in this season and every season. even when we’re ‘found’ we can still be in a season of both questions and answers. thank you for beautifully saying this!
I needed this today. It helped me refresh my sense of whimsy. Being a woman is a journey so filled with whimsy. I’m 73, doing a lot of personal reflection, and hoping for an interesting last chapter. It is baby steps all the way and sometimes 2 steps back for every 3 steps forward. I need to dig out one of my favorite t-shirts…it says, “Not all who wander are lost.”
I am filled with so much gratitude reading these words. Thank you. There is so much wisdom to be gleaned from the whimsy of life. It is a vessel for life’s grandeur, it is the reason children are able to see things so much for clearly. I have friend who always talks about how it is sometimes the steps back that allow us to see forward. ❤️
"I am a woman wandering. A woman uncovering and discovering the things all the women in me seem to know but I am still growing in understanding." This deeply resonated. Thank you for helping me/us feel seen through your words.

And suddenly I feel deeply joined on the way.

This was liberating family.
The struggle of trying to find my way has done more harm than good so I’ve been intuitional about just being.
I’ve found validation in my experience since then and in your words today.

I love this analogy of paper plains and it brings me back to words from my Grandpapa…follow the wind.
